Usually I don't like revealing what's in the works until after it's released, but I wanted to make an exception in this case since I'm so excited about it. While many minor features are being released every week or two, the major ones in development that will soon be released are the following.
Load your tracks
Want to see your GPS tracks displayed in the app? We got it covered. Now I will show you this screenshot of the app in development complete with my own tracks, but just know, just like all of you I'd rather be seen naked in public than share my boat tracks! But to prove it's working, here's a screenshot of my actual tracks. Yeah, it's pretty obvious my boat is kept at Cove Harbor :-)

The thing I like about this is that it wasn't easy to implement and the value is high. We will provide some instructions for how you can add your tracks to make it as easy as possible.
This sets the stage for other track options that will appear in the app - like being able to purchase a pro guide's tracks for a given bay. For example, if you're not super familiar with Carlos and Mesquite bays, you can get into a navigation pickle very quickly. For a nominal price, you'll be able to make an in app purchase and get the tracks for that bay that will give you a high level of confidence. But that will come a little bit later, right now we will allow you to load your own tracks, as part of your monthly subscription. And there's no risk of your tracks being viewable by anyone but you.
User Defined Weights
Okay, the other main feature in development is "user defined weights". There's no screenshot available for this one just yet, so I will just describe it. The "Where to Go" feature of the app in the bottom menu options uses an algorithm that includes many factors (wind direction, wind speed, temps, bottom types, etc.). 361 Fishing applies weights to those factors using real-time data resulting in five locations that you should go. With this enhancement, you can adjust the weights to the things that you think are important, or you can use the 361 Fishing "default weights" which we think are pretty good. This gives you great power and flexibility and puts the decision logic in a model that you provided. User defined weights are kept private on a user by user basis, so there's no issue with other people seeing your weights.
So that's a preview of what's coming. We are committed to providing features to help you be successful on the water.
Tight lines!
