Magazine Article, Fireworks and 4th of July Weekend

Finally, fourth of July weekend is the busiest of the year. There is way more drinking and driving, drinking and boating, and just way more people here than the town of Rockport can handle. We personally don't take the boat out on weekends like this mainly for safety reasons, but also to avoid crowds. If you go out, make sure your boat meets all TPWD requirements (the app has a checklist) and make safety your number one objective. You can always buy fish. :-)
